Environmental Law

“I look forward to learning about and working on daily legal challenges in a changing industry. I love the dynamic environment and the future-relevant topics.”

Not only am I a “wicked early riser” (Jasper’s words), I also burn for topics related to sustainability and the law. I am particularly passionate about energy and environmental law. This topic is becoming more and more relevant for everyone and also especially for the raw materials industry.

As a working student, I want to get involved with pektogram and make a maximum impact during this time. When I’m not here, you’ll find me studying for a state exam in law and working in the environmental law department at the University of Bielefeld. Before that, I did my bachelor’s degree in political science and law while working as a freelancer for verdi [Germany’s united services trade union].

Sustainability

“For me, sustainability is one of the key issues of our time. The world needs to change so that it remains a livable place for everyone. pektogram gives us a chance to make a contribution. Because even small changes here in the raw materials sector have a huge, global impact!“

I’m a real energizer. My focus: cornering new topics and [net]working with others. I see teamwork as THE recipe for success! Following my training as a wholesale merchant at August Dreckshage steel traders, I worked as a project manager and consultant for intralogistics solutions. At the same time, I did my bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering. Afterwards, I toured Europe for six months in a VW van before I got the call from Jasper and Olli in autumn of 2021…

Tech & Innovation

“We stand at an economic and social turning point. In addition to sustainable approaches, above all we need disruptive ones and digital solutions. With pektogram, we want to be part of the vanguard – and take advantage of the great leverage of the raw material industry.“

I am an absolute optimist. A sense of humor and a healthy dose of laughter help me get through every day – and are contagious. Professionally, tech and innovation are my thing: International Business Studies in Paderborn and Paris, almost two years in innovation management in fashion logistics and a Master’s in Economics from Bielefeld with a focus on technology and innovation management. I am resolutely continuing on this path with pektogram: full of energy, optimism, and enthusiasm for what we do.

Strategy & Business

“We need raw materials, and we need global trade in them. But we need a new mindset with digital solutions and sustainable ideas. Things cannot stay the way they are now! With pektogram we want to do true pioneering work!”

I’m a realist, generally cheerful and in a good mood, but I also regularly think things through and question them, and don’t take anything as a given. That helps me develop new strategies. The basis for this are my dual studies (business administration + logistics management), my MBA in the field of Innovation & Leadership and a total of eight years in fashion logistics with the stations project management, innovation management, corporate development & strategy as well as my work as a board advisor. With pektogram, I’m thinking big, but as a realist I also remain down-to-earth. For me, this is the best way to really make an effective difference.
